Q. A guy makes a 72-footer. What did you think about that?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Yeah, I mean, nice moment for Nick and the fans here. So it's great to be a part of that Sunday and that playoff. I had my chances, really. It wasn't to be this time. But, yeah, congratulations to him.
Q. It had to be tough to see that go in when you did have some chances there. But you got to be proud of yourself the way you finished things off today to get into that playoff with some tough lies on the 72nd hole.
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Yeah, I mean, I played well. Obviously the last was disappointing. Missed the fairway off the tee after playing 16 and 17 so well. So, yeah, I had my chances and didn't take 'em.
Q. It was a great show, you played great. We know a win's coming for you.
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Thank you.
Q. Tied for the lead after birdies at 15 and 16 -- or 16 and 17. What was the biggest challenge on that last hole in regulation today?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I missed the fairway with the tee shot. I was playing so well and just got a bit fast. I obviously had my chances starting with the par-5 with an iron off the tee and then in the playoff. But I'm not going to take anything away from Nick. I played with him the first two rounds and he obviously struggled on day one. So he's played unbelievable from there on in and then amazing moment for him on the last hole.
Q. What did you learn about yourself and your game this week?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I just have to keep practicing, keep playing. I was really pleased with how I played over the weekend. I played great today, even though I missed some chances, if you like, on those playoff holes. Yeah, it was close. I just have to take the positives from it and start practicing tomorrow. I got a major next week. So can't dwell on it too much.
