Q. Great playing. Tied for the lead into the third round of the RBC Canadian Open. What's been clicking for you this week?
RYAN FOX: To be honest, almost everything has. I drove it great, I hit may irons really good, and had a few more putts drop today. It could have been really silly, but I still had a lot of good putts. If you would have given me 64 to start the day I certainly would have taken.
Q. What has your experience been with Canada and this course into this week?
RYAN FOX: This is my first time playing in Canada in about 12 years. I played Canadian Amateur in a New Zealand team event here like 2011, I think, so it's been awhile. I enjoyed my time there, that long ago. I've enjoyed my time so far here. Golf course kind of suits my eye. Similar grass to what we play at home. Similar kind of old style, tree-lined golf course, which is what I grew up on. Hopefully I can keep it rolling over the weekend like that.
Q. You mentioned a couple weeks ago that you felt like your game turned a corner at the Masters. Do you still feel like you're on that kind of run, and what in your game helped you turn that corner?
RYAN FOX: Yeah, before the Masters I was really struggling, wasn't hitting it great. I generally hit a cut and I'm standing there and I could miss it left and right, which is not a great feeling. The Masters was the first week I kind of felt like I had some control again. Took awhile to kind of put the scores together, but certainly been feeling a lot better about my golf game since then.
The last few weeks, tee to green's been really good, I just kind of haven't put it all together. So far through two days everything's kind of worked really well. As I said, hopefully I can keep it rolling on the weekend, but at least I know that the game's there, and there's still a fair bit of golf to be played this year, so it's nice to at least have a chance over the weekend.
Q. You'll be in the final group with Robert MacIntyre. What's your friendship like with him?
RYAN FOX: I've known Bob since he got on TOUR a few years ago. He's a great kid. We get along really well. Played together a bunch of times in Europe. Played together the first two days at Myrtle Beach this year. We both went pretty well there. Hopefully, we can have a bit of fun tomorrow and feed off each other and be in that final group again on Sunday.
Q. You mentioned that you helped him with some logistical issues into this week?
RYAN FOX: Yeah, we both had P 1 Visa issues. I got mine in Ottawa the week after the Masters and sort of passed on the contact details that I, the people we used. I think he went and got it either this week or last week, and said it was really easy. Glad to help a fellow DP World Tour member out, and I'm looking forward to playing with him tomorrow, should be good fun.
