Lucas Glover

Quick Quotes

Q. Bogey-free; 9-under; tied for the round of the day. How did it go out there?

LUCAS GLOVER: It was good. Played the exact same on the back as I did the front. Just made some putts on the front; didn't make much on the back. Didn't read the greens as well. Struggled with that all week. I think anybody honest would say the same thing.

Maybe other than the leaders. Yeah, struggled all week reading them. Read them great on the front today and struggled a bit on the back.

No complaints after that round, other than just didn't make much on the back.

Q. What is sticks out more, the ones that fell in or the ones that maybe came up a little short?

LUCAS GLOVER: It's hard to say, because if I putted like that the first three days I probably would've been playing a lot later today and been in a whole different position.

So, yeah, just if I'd have putted better the first three days I would've been right there. I played identical as today; just made some putts.

Q. As it has all week, wind is picking up for the afternoon. What are we seeing out there for this final round?

LUCAS GLOVER: More birdies. Yeah, I'll be in my gym clothes here pretty soon.

Q. You notice the greens firming up as the week has gone on?

LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, they're interesting. They have a bit of grain to them, believe it or not. Into the grain are still stopping, but downgrain ones, downwind or whatnot, are bouncing pretty good.

Q. First time here to Black Desert, as everybody it. How would you describe the golf course? What does it demand of you to play well?

LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, you get plenty of room on the tee balls but you better hit in the green stuff. Other than that you're re-teeing most likely.

It's forgiving. If you miss it's bad. Obviously. Really fun course to play. Ball goes forever and all the par-5s are gettable. Great mix of par-3s. Typical Weiskopf design, great mix of threes, fun, drivable hole on each side. Yeah, it's fun. Fun course.

Q. For those of us in Utah excited to have the TOUR back here, what would you say to those that didn't show up that may be considering it next time?

LUCAS GLOVER: I don't know. I'm not in control of anybody else's schedule. It's fun, fun place to play. Resort is fantastic. Yeah, great spot.

Q. Just wanted to ask you, how does this help you out this fall, this high finish like this?

LUCAS GLOVER: I don't know. I still don't know how any of this works. I'm here because I didn't play good the regular part of the year. I think I got three or four weeks off now and show back up in Bermuda.

All the math and -- I don't know, you need a Nobel math scholar to figure it out all.

Just trying to play well.

Q. How is the game looking? How is the game trending? Are you happy with it?

LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, good. Really good. Happy with what I worked on since Greensboro, or Napa, whatever. I don't know. Schedule is confusing to me, too. That's my own fault.

Yeah, been working hard; playing nice; lost a bunch of weight so trying to be better.
