Q. Great start to the tournament. Despite not knowing if you were going to be playing today. How would you assess the round overall?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: No, very, very pleased first of all. Just pleased to be out here and competing. Didn't look like that, yeah, even just a couple days ago. Today as well didn't really know for sure. It's nice to be able to handle that and go out there and shoot a decent score. Just, yeah, happy to be here.
Q. What did the warm-up look like the entire week, not knowing if you were going to be in, and where were you when you got the call?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: Yeah, I mean, I was actually on the range when I got the call. Yesterday or actually Tuesday I was planning on playing -- sorry mixing up my days here. Wednesday I was planning to play in Palm Beach with Rasmus and Marco Penge and my teammate last week. So, yeah, quickly had to decline that after I was told that I was first alternate. But, yeah, this day today has been a long one and just having to be ready if called upon, or called upon is maybe the wrong way to put it. But, yeah, if I did get the call then I had to be ready. Just that uncertainty is a little bit weird to deal with, but yeah, just as I said, thrilled to be able to play.
Q. Does the warm-up change at all or the routine?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: I spent about an hour on the range very early this morning. Spent about 45 minutes on the putting green just doing some drills and stuff. 30 minutes on the chipping green. Suddenly I got the call and then the warm-up kind of followed from there. Yeah, another 20 minutes on the range and a few putts, so and I was ready to go. But, yeah, no it's been a weird day. I would prefer to be in the field rather than an alternate. But, yeah, no it's just great to be able to be out here competing in my first Signature Event.
Q. Overall a pretty impressive start to your rookie season. How would you assess your season so far?
KRISTOFFER REITAN: Well if you asked me just a few weeks ago I wouldn't be very happy. But just happy to see at least results kind of trending in the right direction and getting some solid tournaments in there. Last week was huge. Just playing with a buddy of mine and in a team format, it was, yeah, beyond special. Trying to just build on the decent stretch I've had the last few weeks. So, yeah, that's all I want to see is just some progress.
