Q. What did you feel like you did best today in your game?
CAMERON YOUNG: I think I just managed misses really well, I putted really well. I feel like I just took advantage of the opportunities I had. I didn't hit it terrible but I just wasn't consistently in position all day, I didn't drive it amazing. I think that's kind of what I would like to do better tomorrow.
Q. Did you feel you had good patience out there then, since you weren't driving it as well?
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, for sure. I think you have to have an understanding out here that you're going to get in some difficult places, and yeah, thankfully I've dealt with that really well. I feel like I've kind of kept myself in a space where I'm putting well, so I know if I do hit a few good shots I'm going to make some birdies. That's kind of the mentality I'll try to keep the next few days. If I can just stack a few more good shots I feel like I'll have more chances and that will be a good thing out there.
Q. That putt on 16, how disappointed were you with it when it came off the putter and then how surprised were you when it went in?
CAMERON YOUNG: On 13.
Q. I'm sorry, 13.
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, I was absolutely disgusted about halfway there. I think my read netted out to be okay, but I just thought it was going to go a little bit left and then a little bit right and it ended up going six inches left and six inches right. So it got way left of where I thought it had a chance to go in and then just on a day like that when you're putting well some of those they tend to wobble into the hole and that one did.
Q. I know yesterday you said you felt like you made a billion feet of putts, but statistically you made more feet of putts today than you did yesterday?
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, but the stats missed two that I made off the fringe yesterday from about 30 feet each. I don't think it's quite true. It's a little bit misleading.
Q. How good has the putting been all week though?
CAMERON YOUNG: It's been very good. I feel like I made all the ones that you feel like you're supposed to make and then I've had a good few on top of that from 15 to 30 feet, which is a nice relief when those go in.
Q. Taking a four-shot lead at least right now into it. How comfortable is that going into the weekend here?
CAMERON YOUNG: I'll take whatever I can get. I feel like I've been around the lead quite a bit, I'm not particularly uncomfortable. I've liked this golf course thus far. So that being said I'll take whatever advantage you're going to give me. There's a lot of guys right there, four or five back, and I'm sure somebody will be 4-under through 5 tomorrow so you just have to be ready for that and go from there.
Q. Was there a main thing that you were focusing on mechanically or technically coming into this week?
CAMERON YOUNG: Not really, honestly. Kind of have had similar feels the last month or two. Kind of just continuing to work on the same thing and make sure that I kind of have control over my speed and the couple of shots that I hit out there the most.
Q. You're doing so well so far right now, do you have a favorite hole on this course?
CAMERON YOUNG: I don't know. If there's any hole that I birdied twice, then that one. 16. Birdied 16 twice. That's my favorite hole.
Q. Knowing how difficult this course can be how do you attack this weekend knowing that scores aren't going to go probably crazy low, but you can get out of position really quickly here?
CAMERON YOUNG: I think you have to be ready for them to be low. I don't know exactly what the weather looks like, but there's been scoring in the morning every day out here. There were a couple guys that went nuts this morning. I feel like you have to be ready for that. I may have a two- or three- or four-shot lead starting tomorrow, but it just goes away so fast out here of the there's no sense really playing like you have a four-shot lead, you might as well play like you're four back.
