I. SWIATEK/E. Cocciaretto
6-1, 6-0
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. Do you feel as though, two matches under your belt here, in terms of the progress, how you're playing your game, that it's exactly were you want it to be?
IGA SWIATEK: Yeah, I mean, I played against two different styles, as well. I think it's nice to get that experience in two completely different conditions. It's nice to play these matches to, yeah, know what you can do in each situation.
One was very tough and tight. Today was kind of more one way. Both gave me a lot. I'm really happy that I'm going to have another chance to play here.
Q. Naomi next. First of all, what are your thoughts about playing her?
IGA SWIATEK: Yeah, I think it's going to be a tough match. She is playing better on clay, I would say. Two years ago I could feel that at Roland Garros. I'm going to prepare tactically, see how she plays now. We had a chance to practice in Madrid.
When she has a good day, she feels the ball well, she's a really tough opponent. I need to be ready to, yeah, not give anything for free, fight for every point.
Q. When we told her she was playing you next, she didn't know, her face lit up a little bit, she was excited to play a big match against a top player. Do you have the same reaction, regardless of rankings, there's certain players that...
IGA SWIATEK: Honestly for me, since I didn't play many matches, I feel like, yeah, playing against a good top player is a nice experience. I'm also really excited. Yeah, no matter what's going to happen, it gives me some lesson before Roland Garros.
Either if I win or lose, I can kind of also see where my level is at.
