C. ALCARAZ/M. Kecmanovic
6-7, 6-3, 7-6
Q. It was really loud in there, right? Did you get goosebumps at any time during that match?
CARLOS ALCARAZ: Yes, of course. I mean, it was a pretty close match. I think the atmosphere that I lived today and this match was unbelievable. I think the best atmosphere that I have lived on these courts, for sure. It was amazing.
I mean, I enjoyed the match, even if it was really close and tough match. Yeah, it was pretty good match.
Q. You said you loved Miami at the end there. How does that crowd compare to other crowds you have played in front of?
CARLOS ALCARAZ: I think that I'm playing in Spain. It's unbelievable. I mean, the energy that they push to me, it was crazy. And, yeah, I think without them it would not be possible to get into the semifinal today.
Q. You spent a lot of time signing autographs. After you cooled down, you went over and took a picture and gave a wristband to a kid standing in the corner. How important are the fans to you to do that kind of thing?
CARLOS ALCARAZ: Yeah, I think outside is pretty important, as well. I'm a close person, friendly, as well. If I want player, some athlete sign me, I mean, the same.
You know, the people want a signature from me is amazing. You know, young, and as I said, friendly person, so I do whatever they want.
