D. SCHWARTZMAN/D. Evans
5-7, 6-4, 6-0
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. What's the reason do you think that the match turned around in the way that it did?
DANIEL EVANS: I obviously played a pretty poor game at 4-3, I think it was, and lost my focus. Then he got pretty hot then. Yeah, it just ran away from me really.
Overall it was disappointing. I played some good tennis up until 4-3 really, and, yeah, I sort of blew that game pretty badly. Yeah, he's just a difficult player to play, and yeah, it's a tough one to take.
Q. I was looking at your schedule for the rest of your season. Three ATP events and then there is a Davis Cup as well. Is that still very much a priority for you at the end of the season? It's not going to give you a great deal of time to get ready for next year and the trip to Oz, is it?
DANIEL EVANS: No, but, I mean, playing Davis Cup is, you know, one of the highlights of the year. You know, ATP Cup, playing for Great Britain, it's a great, great pleasure, pride.
So, yeah, I'm more than happy to, you know, shave a bit of preseason off and, yeah, play Davis Cup and hopefully we will do well.
