C. ALCARAZ/T. Griekspoor
7-6, 6-3
THE MODERATOR: Questions.
Q. How do you compare tonight to the other night in terms of your level? Do you feel like you're getting better?
CARLOS ALCARAZ: Well, I would say it was different. Today was more windy, like difficult conditions, you know, comparing to the last night.
Well, I had to up my game, you know, tonight, because, as I said, the wind, the opponent is different as well. But I would say I'm proud of the level that I played today.
Q. What experience do you have of Jack Draper, Carlos? I know you played him in Basel in October.
CARLOS ALCARAZ: Well, I know he's really good player. I mean, he's playing well. He has beaten great opponent like Evans and Andy. I know that I gonna have to play my best, give my 100% on court, you know. I played against him in Basel 7-5 in the third, I think.
Yeah, it's gonna be a really tough match and I gonna enjoy.
Q. Today was your 101st win on the tour. Have you been thinking of that? If you remember your first win in 2020 against Albert Ramos the night in 3:00 a.m. in Rio?
CARLOS ALCARAZ: Yeah, a lot has happened since that first ATP win. You know, I'm really proud of myself to have my 100th win on the tour, you know, in like 132 matches. I saw I was the second player in history with less matches to be able to get into 100, you know, win. Yeah, I'm really proud of myself about that.
