H. RUNE/J. Cerundolo
4-1, 4-2, 1-4, 4-1
Q. I would ask you first of all a comment about today's match, what were the difficulties in the first set and what do you think you have done very well?
HOLGER RUNE: Yeah, I think I started playing very aggressive, I think after yesterday in my match I wanted to play a little more aggressive, so that's what I tried to take into today's match. I started very well playing aggressive, moving him around, coming into the net.
And then in the third set I lost completely the focus playing like either too passive or too aggressive, didn't time the shots very well. He's a good player, this is why he's here.
I managed to regroup pretty fast after the third set and came back to find a way to win and that's what happened. So this is what I'm pleased and happy about.
Q. The last thing I want to know how much you know Nakashima's game and what do you think you have to do tomorrow to win against him?
HOLGER RUNE: Yeah, I know his game, we've been practicing and of course I've been seeing him a lot, he's been doing well this year also. I think he's a very typical hardcourt player, he has a great serve, great backhand, he moves pretty well he's a great hardcourt player and especially here indoors he plays pretty aggressive, serves well. So it's going to be a very difficult match, probably more similar to the first one I had because Cerundolo plays in a different way, more like spin and grinding, so I have to be ready on my feet, ready physically because it can be a very tough battle.
But I'm just going to try to focus on myself, improve the things that I want to do better after today and it's probably going to be the deciding match of who is going to get through, so it's going to be very exciting.
