THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. A really good fight in your two matches here. A disappointment, I'm sure, but you must take a lot of confidence from your performance the last two days?

ELISABETTA COCCIARETTO: Yes, they were tough matches. Very, yes, very tough. I played I think good tennis with a little bit up-and-down.

For sure I will take some positives from these matches. Of course I'm sad about the rest, because I wanted to take the point for my flag. For sure there are a lot of things to be positive and to keep working.

Q. You got yourself into some great positions building leads. What do you need to do to get over the line in matches like this?

ELISABETTA COCCIARETTO: I think when I'm up with the score, I have to be more aggressive, to be more offensive to the point. Yes, I think that's the point that I have to improve.

Of course I have to play more matches like this, because I didn't play tough matches like this in these events. So I have to learn, and I have to improve and to build my tennis.

Q. How did you feel physically after three hours yesterday?

ELISABETTA COCCIARETTO: I mean, it was good. Today I had a little bit pain on my leg, but it was okay. With the taping, it was fine.

Maybe in the second set I was a little bit tired, but of course I played yesterday three hours, and I came from a very tough tournament. It's okay. I mean, I said I will try my best, and I put everything more. That's what I did.

She was very, I mean, she's a very great opponent. She improved her level in the second set, and she played better.
