THE MODERATOR: English questions, please.

Q. Many congratulations. How good are you feeling at the minute to win the point for your nation? Billie Jean King Cup debut, how good are you feeling?

LINDA NOSKOVA: Super excited. I'm just so happy that I had a chance to play my first match and win it. Obviously it was a long and tough match, but I overcame the score in the third set. So I finished the match in my way, which is the most important thing.

Q. When did you find out you were playing?

LINDA NOSKOVA: Well, yesterday evening. We always do it like this. It's better for us to know a day, you know, for a day that we are playing. Although doubles, we don't know exactly who is going to play, so we'll see.

Q. How exciting was it when you got that news presumably from Petr that you were playing? How excited, how much anticipation was that?

LINDA NOSKOVA: Yeah, obviously very excited and happy. But, you know, my game was not at the top of what I can do, but I won, which is the most important thing.

Q. Is it something you'll remember forever? First Billie Jean King Cup, actual debut, a victory. Is it something you think you'll remember forever?

LINDA NOSKOVA: Yeah, for sure. I think it's such a big event. The fact that I had a chance to play here and get along with my team so well is just really, really cool and unforgettable experience for me.

Q. You won the last five games of the match. I would like to know, you changed something about your game or it was more a mental aspect that helped you to win?

LINDA NOSKOVA: I think I started to play a little less chaotic, let's say. I wanted to play a little more points in a game and obviously give her some chance to miss a point.

I stopped being so, like, aggressive, let's say, but still I was going to keep a lot of points, to push a lot of points back into the game.

I think she started not being so sure of her game or, like, she couldn't finish it. So that's always the toughest part of the match.

Q. When you were younger, you played great on clay and now you're getting very good result on hard court. What do you think is the most suitable surface for your game?

LINDA NOSKOVA: Well, I always liked hard courts more, but I think that I'm starting to build my game to be a little more open to all the surfaces.

I think the only surface that's not really my great side yet is the grass, because I played it only for the first time this year. Yeah, we'll see which one is going to be the most comfortable for me in the future.
