THE MODERATOR: Obviously you're playing in your home tournament, wanted to go farther. How are you feeling now about this week and going into Fort Worth?
GIULIANA OLMOS: Yeah, I wish we had done better this week. I mean, it's really hard I think here just to adjust to the altitude. We got here last minute.
To be fair that's also not really an excuse because last year I was here for two weeks at a time. Both times I didn't feel great. I just think it's tough conditions here.
I think there were some points today I want to say we probably would have won if there wasn't altitude. Everyone had altitude, so it kind of went both ways. I think it was just whoever could adapt to the conditions better.
At the end of the day I had a lot of fun being back playing in Mexico. For me it's like the best thing to play here. The crowd is always so helpful, so supportive. I had so much fun out there today. They definitely gave me a lot of support in the second set and I think that helped loosen me up a bit, too.
Bummer that we lost. Still happy. I enjoyed myself this week and happy I get to go home a few days before Fort Worth.
I feel really good going into Fort Worth especially because there's no altitude there.
