BOLELLI-VAVASSORI/Krawietz-Puetz
4-6, 7-6, 11-9
Q. (Question off microphone.)
SIMONE BOLELLI: Really happy, had a great week, so confident for the next week also. We won four big matches.
Q. Talk to me about the tiebreaker especially, how was that?
SIMONE BOLELLI: Yeah, but always, I mean, I think the match was changed in the second set. We saved our games, 6-5, Love-40, so four match points for them.
Then, okay, we start to playing better and better. Then in 7, the super tiebreaker, 9-All, roller coaster, but we're used to do, used to play like this game, so we just keep fighting and really happy.
Q. Lastly, just some comments on your week here in Adelaide, how have you enjoyed it?
SIMONE BOLELLI: Nothing special, we practice every day, we play almost every day matches. I came just from the Europe one week ago almost, 10 days ago, so we got a couple of days to adjust to the jet lag, to get used to the jet lag, but then also really hot, it took some days to adapt. Now it's time to go off to Melbourne also, so this is a really confident for our futures in the next season.
Q. Congratulations. How does it feel?
ANDREA VAVASSORI: It's an amazing feeling. As Simone said, we got a little bit lucky because they had so many opportunities in the second set, they were two times a break up, four match points on 6-5 down for us. I think also the confidence of the last matches, because we won after a tiebreak with this one, so I think also the confidence. Of course, it was nice to have at the end of the match, I thought Bole played unbelievable in the last tiebreak. So, I think anyway we deserve for keep fighting, for believing in our chance. Doubles is like this sometimes, it's a nightmare if you lose a match that you have to win, and you win matches that you have to lose, so happy to take the confidence also for Melbourne.
