Q. What are your thoughts on your match and how tough was it?
FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: Yeah, it was physically tough. I knew waking up this morning that in order to win, it was going to be a battle. It was three sets both times we played in the past. I was able to come through. This time we did.
But it was going his way for the most part of the match till the second set. Yeah, was really good when I needed to. Was able to turn it around, get the momentum back.
Yeah, great match. Really happy with my level.
Q. At the start you were 5-3 down, you received a medical treatment for your back injury. How did you manage to turn it all around?
FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: Early in the match, maybe it was 3-1, I went for a slide on the forehand, kind of felt something in my back. Nothing new to me. I felt like, Okay, maybe I call the physio to get some treatment and hopefully it feels better. Still feel a bit tight now, but overall pretty good. I was able to come through, and the match went on. Feel great.

Q. How is your back? What exactly happened?
FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: Yeah, it's a tough sport. The surface is hard, as well, on the body and on the joints. These things happen. Hopefully we figure out a way, myself and my team, so it doesn't happen too much.
It's okay. Today it happened.
Q. Your first win against a top-five player on a hard court in two years. What does this say for the coming weeks?
FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: No one can predict the future. I've been training good. I've been feeling better physically. It's really gratifying for myself and everybody that works daily with me because sometimes you feel like you're practicing well, putting in hard work, but you don't always get the results.
Taylor is one of the top players in the world right now. He also works hard, puts in time, is ambitious. Today, yeah, I can say I'm really happy it went my way because it's a really good feeling for everybody involved.
