A. ZVEREV/L. Klein
7-5, 3-6, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6
THE MODERATOR: Well done, Sascha. How much did you know about your opponent before the match, and how much...
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: You just asked me this question (smiling).
THE MODERATOR: Now we are in front of people.
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: I didn't. I didn't know him.
THE MODERATOR: How much did he surprise you?
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: I didn't know him at all. To be honest, if he would have been in a room, I would have not known that he's my opponent.
But he played extremely well. He played very, very aggressive, hitting every single ball as hard as he could from both sides, I feel like. A lot of the times I was a spectator in the match. I was just, you know, witnessing whether he's going to hit a winner or miss.
That's not a nice feeling to be in, especially in the important moments, but I'm happy that I managed to win.
THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.
Q. Regarding your upcoming trial, do you plan to attend in person?
ALEXANDER ZVEREV: Wow. That's a question. I just played four hours, 40 minutes. That's not the first question I really want to hear, to be honest.
I've got no idea. It's in May.
