D. MEDVEDEV/N. Borges
6-3, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1
THE MODERATOR: Nuno, what was it about Medvedev's game that bothered you the most today?
NUNO BORGES: I think Medvedev's effect on your game is making miss a little too much. It's not like he can push you back too much or hit really hard in like first serve and hits you a winner every time, no. It's more likely to be long rallies and just drain you slowly and make you overplay a lot. I really felt that.
I thought I had the shots to make a difference. It just make me hit another one and another one and another one until I would eventually make a mistake.
He was really good at just making me feel that way, like a little desperate to win the point. Like, he was always reading my game. But I guess that's why he is so good. It makes you feel that way.
Even though you feel like you have control of the match, you don't really. He doesn't really give you the point that easily.
