THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. What's your experience been like at Roland Garros over the last two weeks?

SLOANE STEPHENS: It's been good. We have been able to -- well, I have been able to win some matches here, which is really nice. The bubble hasn't been too bad. Obviously a little bit more flexible with the hotel and stuff.

It's been nice obviously kind of getting back things to a little bit of normal, so that's obviously really nice. I can't complain.

Q. Tough match today, but how do you assess where your game is at right now?

SLOANE STEPHENS: I think it's going in the right direction. Obviously you can't expect results to come right away, but I feel good that I have been able to string a lot of matches together recently, which is really nice. Just going to keep growing and building and trying to figure it out.

Pleased with where it's at now.

Q. How do you transition now as we head towards the grass court season and Wimbledon?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Yeah, obviously it's always a little bit difficult, the transition. Especially now that it's a little bit closer we don't have as much time.

Yeah, just going to go out and do the same thing. Try to win as many matches as possible and get a good groove on grass, even though it's super short of a season this year, but just do my best and try to enjoy it as much as possible.

Q. You have had a good run at Wimbledon, reaching the quarters. You have had some earlier exits as well. What are the biggest challenges that grass causes you?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Well, grass has never really been too friendly to me, but I feel, like, grass is kind of anyone's game, like it just really depends on the day. I have obviously played some great grass court players, I'd say, in the first couple rounds of Wimbledon every year. I played Ali Riske, Donna Vekic, played a lot of great grass court players. That's unfortunate.

Yeah, you go in with the same mindset, trying to win as many matches as possible.

Q. After a result like today, how do you reset yourself, find a way to be happy, and bounce back?

SLOANE STEPHENS: Yeah, just put it out of my mind. Obviously I have been here since before Madrid. Yeah, there is a lot of good things going for me. Like I said, I have strung a lot of matches together. It's going in the right direction, so I can't get too down about this. I just have to brush it off and go, like, move on to the next.
