Q. What was the key to getting that finished in four sets for you?
JANNIK SINNER: For sure it was a tough match, especially in the beginning, long rallies, but for sure the key was to keep going and trying to make the key points in each set and I have to say I'm very happy.
Q. How much experience do you feel you have in this stage, you know, at this moment of your career, playing in a slam?
JANNIK SINNER: Of course I am still young, but I learned from the slams what I played already, hopefully there are many to come, but I think I have a little bit of experience, for sure, maybe not so much than the most of the players, but I have.
So let's see how far I can go. But, yeah, that's it.
Q. You play McDonald next? Thoughts on that matchup?
JANNIK SINNER: I played a final in Washington against him, so it's going to be tough, he's a great mover, he knows how to play every shot, so I'm expecting a very tough and long match, so let's see. I mean, the first time that we play on clay, it's something new, so, I don't know.
