THE MODERATOR: That was a very, very long match and can you speak about how that match went?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Yeah, it was definitely very physical match. It was a lot of fighting, you know, some pretty significant momentum shifts.
I did feel like I had a lot of chances. She played really, really well. She played very good in the important moments, taking risk, and I feel like it was paying off for her a little bit more than for me today, which is unfortunate, but it's one of those days where you try to do everything you can and it doesn't turn your way in the end.
THE MODERATOR: But even though you lost, you're happy with how you are playing right now?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: I mean, happy, it's probably an overstatement, because I'm here sitting after a lost match, so I think it's hard to find the emotion of happiness at the moment.
I feel like I've gave all I had. I didn't feel like I've been playing my best tennis here, but I feel like I'm building a little bit more game better on clay. So hopefully at some point it will pay off.
