THE MODERATOR: Just a feeling of how this tough game, it was a very tough battle against Casper Ruud, but at least, you can't win tonight, can you explain how do you feel?
LORENZO SONEGO: I think it was a big fight today, I'm really happy for my match and here to say congrats to Casper for the fight in fourth and fifth set it was unbelievable, he played an unbelievable match and nothing, it's a good experience for me.
Q. How much stronger do you feel that Casper were in this game? You pushed him real hard.
LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah.
Q. Why? In which part of the game do you feel that he was better than you? Why did he win?
LORENZO SONEGO: I think the second and third set I played unbelievable and whenever I hit the ball on my forehand I hit really hard and I put him behind and, yeah, I played really good.
Then Casper changed something and he played unbelievable. No error for him and he served so good in the last two sets and he won the match.
Q. You lost the first set 6-2 and the third set you won 6-1. The Italians on the stands, they were like cheering more and more for you during the second set. How much did they mean to you out there?
LORENZO SONEGO: Yeah, it's pretty funny to play here with this atmosphere. And it's really nice. We are in Paris and to be here at Roland Garros and one of the best tournaments in the world, I like to play here.
There are a lot of Italian people here and it is nice for me and, yeah, it was a really nice atmosphere today.
Q. Do you deliver the game that you expected today or are you surprised by some level?
LORENZO SONEGO: I was in confidence and I played my best, I think and I can do nothing different today, he was better than me today.
