Q. Obviously your home run was huge but I know when it comes to talking, you like to talk about your teammates more than yourself. What can you say about Adolis Garcia and what he's meant on this run?

COREY SEAGER: Special players step out in moments like this, and he's done it all season for us. It's been extremely fun to watch and extremely fun to be a part of.

Q. Nathan Eovaldi has been great for you guys. Today wasn't the best, but for you guys on offense to be able to pick him up, what's that say?

COREY SEAGER: It was awesome. Evo grinded for us, he gave us some good innings, kept us in the game, kept us close. That's what we needed him out of today. Fortunately the offense could pick him up this time. And he's done it enough for us in the past. It was great to give him that one.

Q. You've never given up regardless of the score or the inning. What were your thoughts as you came up to the plate?

COREY SEAGER: This is a resilient group. We've preached it all year -- pass the baton; the game is not over until all the outs are made.

We went in there, just tried to have some good at-bats in the ninth and continued to have them in the extra innings.

Q. What were some of the things that happened before you stepped up to the plate that put you guys in that position? I know there was relief pitching, walks. But from your perspective, what were some of the things that put you in position to be able to have a moment like that?

COREY SEAGER: You know you can't say enough about the bullpen. They gave us a bunch of good innings, didn't give up a run, kept us where we needed to be. I think that was the big spark for us.

Q. Can you talk about that at-bat that you had to hit the home run and also what you were thinking when the ball came off your bat?

COREY SEAGER: Just excitement, obviously. It's fun. This is the playoffs. This is kind of what it's all about. So it was a cool moment, for sure.

Q. Why do you love 0-0 pitches and swinging on them so much?

COREY SEAGER: Those guys are good. You never want to just give them a strike. You never know if the one you're supposed to move forward is the first one, so you're just kind of always ready.

Q. In that vein, were you looking for a fastball? What was your mindset as you're going up to the plate?

COREY SEAGER: Yeah, you know, just try to have a good at-bat, really, that was pretty much it.

Q. Was it a good pitch? Was it a hitter's pitch? What kind of pitch was it? I mean, it went out so fast, you really couldn't tell. You don't know?

COREY SEAGER: Sorry.

Q. A lot of guys are able to slow the moment down when they get in those big spots. For you, 2017, Game 2 homer in the World Series tonight, game against Houston in the CS. How are you able to lock into that moment and not get ahead of yourself for wanting to hit that big run in that spot?

COREY SEAGER: I think this team has just done a good job of that. We talked about it all year -- pass the baton, you don't always have to be the guy that night. Rely on your teammates, trust your teammates to do what they need to do. It's contagious it rubs off, puts you in a clear mindset.
