Q. 65 in your opening round here at Abu Dhabi. How do you reflect?
JASON SCRIVENER: It was a really nice way to start the year. Yeah, a little scrappy at the start, and then kind of fought my way through it and had a few good breaks. Played really nicely the second half of the round.
Q. A couple eagles in there as well. Talk us through those?
JASON SCRIVENER: Made a nice 3 on the par-5 7, hit two really good shots in there and holed a nice putt. 10, I got lucky enough to hole a wedge shot from about 85 metres.
Q. After a bit of a break, how hard is it coming into a new calendar year, new tournament? How hard to gauge the expectations you might have?
JASON SCRIVENER: It's really tricky. I was talking to my caddie the first few holes, I was saying it feels weird the first few holes. It takes you a bit of time to work your way into the round. It's tricky, but couldn't ask for a better start.
Q. The conditions today, not as windy as we've seen at Yas Links, but those gusts can be a bit of a bother at times?
JASON SCRIVENER: Yeah, definitely, you have to be committed to your start lines. And well-struck shots, you can get rewarded around here. But if you're a bit off, it can be pretty penalising.
