Q. An excellent round of 7-under par 65, five birdies in a row from the 9th. What were you thinking and feeling during that run?
ALEXANDER BJÖRK: I didn't start great. Felt a bit stiff in the morning. Had a bit of trouble hitting shots on the range, but I was trying to warm up, and I hit a few good shots. Then I rolled -- got on a good run with the putter on those holes. I holed a few quite good ones there, so it was nice to get the feeling and momentum going.
Q. You finished top 20 in this championship at this course last year. Is it a course you particularly enjoy playing?
ALEXANDER BJÖRK: Yeah, I like it. I think it's great. It kind of suits my game. It's a links-style. I like the greens. They are rolling really nice. Yeah, I like it play this style of course.
Q. You've been away for three months from competitive golf with a back injury. How have you hit the ground running? What's been the secret to coming out and playing so well so early?
ALEXANDER BJÖRK: Well, I took some time to rehab, and then after a month and a half I felt okay, and I started to hit a few balls.
And yeah, I was down here ten days before this week, practicing, trying to practice like a good amount, not practice too much obviously because I don't want it to come back. The key has been to try to take care of my time in a good way and not overdoing it but still do it, so yeah.
