Q. A round of 6-under par is a terrific start in this tournament. What was the secret to success today?
GUIDO MIGLIOZZI: Have the mind free. I didn't know what to expect. I put a lot of work during the Christmastime and before the tournament. The most important thing I was thinking is to enjoy playing golf, and you know, everything came together today. It's great to start 2025 with no bogeys and 6-under, it's a great score on this golf course.
Q. Last I heard, you were still working with Pete Cowen and he was saying that you helped with you your practise particularly, helped you structure your practise. Is that the case?
GUIDO MIGLIOZZI: It's the case. Yesterday, during the Pro-Am, I was not very happy on how I played on the course. So I said to him, I became a range player instead of a course player.
So we had a great practise yesterday. Just visualise the shot, hit the shot, all the nine shots. So I was just practising not one target but switching and playing shots like on the course. I remembered that I can do it.
Q. You've played 150 DP World Tour events now. You've had four wins, four seconds, 5 million in prize money. How do you feel about your career so far on this tour?
GUIDO MIGLIOZZI: It's okay. We can improve. It's not bad at all. But you know, thanks for letting me know that. I didn't know that's my 150th tournament. Time flies. But we all want to enjoy the present.
