Q. Eight birdies on the card. How happy are you to finish with one as well, out there?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, it was a good day. Felt a lot more comfortable on the greens today. Yesterday I struggled a bit with pace and then yeah, from the get-go, I felt like I had good speed, and just felt very comfortable over the ball on the greens, and it was nice to see some putts go in.
Q. On the whole it was a tough day scoring for the field. In the afternoon, the wind picked up a little bit and it looks like the greens were firming up a lot, as well?
TYRRELL HATTON: To be honest I didn't feel like they were overly firm. Generally I have quite a high ball flight, anyway, so if the green do get firmer on the weekend, if I can hit fairways, that maybe plays into my hands a little bit.
But overall, I'm just happy with sort of getting myself back around the leaders going into the weekend and hoping that I can continue to make some birdies.
Q. You always play so well in this part of the world, and you've got three top five finishes at this tournament alone. You must feel very comfortable where you are at the moment?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, in a pretty steady spot. I'd love to go and have another good round tomorrow and give myself a chance going into Sunday. I feel like this is one of those events that you would love to have on your C.V. It's an iconic event for the DP World Tour, and yeah, I'd love to give myself a chance.
Q. Driving is your bread and butter, and there's even more of a premium, I hear, for the weekend to be in play. That must give you some comfort.
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, although on the front nine I struggled a little bit off the tee but I was striking the ball quite nicely. I just wasn't hitting enough fairways. I got a little bit lucky with some of the lies but overall, I think I drove the ball a little bit better on the back nine. I certainly felt that way. Yeah, that needs to continue this weekend.
