Q. Obviously a little disappointing to bogey the last, but 69, how do you feel overall?
RYAN FOX: Yeah, I would have definitely taken that at the start of the day. It was pretty tough out there. Those greens got ridiculously quick and firm at the end there. If you hit it the in the wrong spots, like I did on 18, feels like it's impossible to get the ball close to the hole.
I'm playing really solid for the most part. Short game saved me when I hit a couple bad shots, and kept it in play off the tee, which is kind of the main thing around here. This golf course, it's tricky off the tee when it's windy. Gave myself a chance for tomorrow which is nice.
Q. You haven't played competitively since October. Did you expect to hit the ground early or are you surprising yourself?
RYAN FOX: Not really. I've had a really good prep leading into this. I played a lot of go in December and had a nice sort of week at home in the lead up to coming away, really getting the game ready. And I've been playing nicely at home.
But it's different with a scorecard in your hand, and to be honest I would have probably taken, made the cut, hit a few good shots, start to get the tournament juices flowing again.
But to be here on Sunday afternoon, have a chance to win, is pretty cool. See what happens. But it's been pretty solid all week, so hopefully it's the same tomorrow.
