Q. Your first visit to the DP World Tour Championship and you have a chance to win The Race to Dubai and be Europe's No. 1 at the end of the season. How excited by that?
MIN WOO LEE: It's amazing. Just looking back on the season, I played one major and missed the cut and didn't get to play any of the majors. Other than that I've played amazing and hopefully I can finish on top. But if not, I'm going to tap myself on the shoulder and say I've had a really good season.
Q. Some amazing names on the trophy: Ballesteros, Langer, Woosie, McIlroy, Westwood, Els. What would it mean to Min Woo Lee to put his name alongside the legends of the game?
MIN WOO LEE: It would be amazing. At the end of the year you want that prize, and it doesn't come that often where you have such a good season like this all the time. Hopefully I can take the opportunity and take the trophy, but if not, like I said, it's been a begun.
Q. Fourth place finish for you last week across the road at the Fire Course. How does the Earth Course set up for you?
MIN WOO LEE: I've been driving it well over the last month or so. I think that's a big key to the Earth Course. You've got to drive it well and like in the Pro-Am, I drove it well and I had a few birdie -- I had a lot of birdie opportunities, so hopefully I can replicate that. It's pretty similar. You've got to drive it well and hopefully you don't get yourself in too much trouble and hopefully make some birdies.
Q. When you arrived in Scotland, you were already a winner on Tour but how did contended in The Scottish Open, a Rolex Series Event, feel to you?
MIN WOO LEE: It was amazing. I was a few shots back so I wasn't in the final group or anything. Made six birdies in a row on the front nine and got off and running. When I'm feeling good and all the juice is flowing, in contention, I don't really stop, which is I think a strength of mine. So I don't really back down from whatever challenges are ahead of me and just keep making birdies.
Q. If you had a highlight reel playing in your head, what moment of the week how you look back to?
MIN WOO LEE: I would probably say the last shot into 18. In regulation, I had a putt, a 15- to 20-footer up the hill and with the rain delay, I thought I hit it hard enough but just a little roll short. I told myself in the playoff to hit a bit harder and it did go in but I think the approach shot into 18 on the playoff was key.
Q. And your thoughts finally on The European Tour's announcement last week it will now be the DP World Tour?
MIN WOO LEE: It's amazing. We are growing the game of golf and more places to play and more money, and who doesn't want that? It brings more players in and hopefully we can bring other big players in just to grow the game of golf, and it's just an amazing addition to the Tour.
