Q. Excellent 66. Talk about the early part of that round, 5-under through seven and looked flawless. Did it feel that way to you?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Yeah, I played good early on. Just nice, I looked at the pins this morning and it actually looked like the pins on the front nine looked a bit more accessible than they had been or they had felt for me over the first two days. But even so, still got to hit shots.
Yeah, played great early doors and then not that I was very far away there through the middle stretch of the round. It felt like it got a bit trickier. I missed the fairway by a couple yards and that makes it so much more difficult out of the rough and had to hold on for a bit.
There was a score out there from what you've seen how people played out there. It's always looked to be one of those if you get it right.
Q. You burst back on 14 with an eagle putt. Describe that.
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: It's one of those putts, you half-fancy because you just have to hit it down the hill. So sort of hit it somewhere down the hill. Like Viktor nearly holed his from a similar spot for birdie. It's just one of those that can go either way. It looked good for a very long time, and it was nice, really.
The round had got a bit tricky. Three-putted 12. 13 I didn't hit a bad shot again, inches out and made a good up-and-down. Yeah, and eagle, and sort of two great shots on the green, but still, I'd have taken a four and an eagle.
Q. Second here in 2019, and you said yesterday it's close to your heart. What would it mean to win tomorrow?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: It would be great. I'm very happy with the fact that you get to the final day of the year and I'm still playing well, still feel fresh and I'm still motivated and in contention. I take a lot of pleasure out of that. I think it's easy to shut off when you get so far down the season, but kind of pride myself on going all the way.
We'll see tomorrow. It was great today. Out there playing with one of the best golfers in the world and trying to go toe-to-toe with Viktor. Just look forward to more of it tomorrow. It's been great so far.
