Q. Four birdies and three bogeys in what was a topsy-turvy round for you.
SHANE LOWRY: Yeah, a bit of a roller coaster. It wasn't easy. The golf course played difficult today. I had to fight probably a little bit harder today than that I have over last few weeks.
Birdied the last there. But I couldn't -- as long as the leaders aren't too far away, tomorrow I'll have a chance. At the start of every week, all I want to do is give myself a chance going into Sunday and I feel like I've done that this week.
It's up to me now, go out and play free and play the last round of the year and see where it leads.
Q. You shot 63 in the final round a few years ago to take second place. So you know there's a low round in you out there if you need it.
SHANE LOWRY: Yeah, especially the way I'm playing. I'm driving the ball pretty about, and my irons feel great. I actually feel great on the greens, even though a couple 3-putts today but probably left myself too much to do on both those putts.
Yeah, my whole game feels good, so there's definitely a low one in me. Will that happen tomorrow? Who knows. But I'll give it my best.
Q. You got off to a great start birdieing the par 5 second. You mentioned yesterday about how you need to find those, and you found that fairway bunker on 7.
SHANE LOWRY: I hit a great drive up there as well. Got the wind wrong off the tee. Yeah, just stayed left. You need to birdie that hole. That stretch of holes, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, none of them are easy and even easy holes.
18 is easier today I'm sure, but there's still a mistake there to be made. 1-under is not the best score but not ridiculously bad either.
Q. Quite a few of the pins tucked away, particularly on 13 right in the top corner, and that that was one of the holes you bogeys?
SHANE LOWRY: The wind is blowing and hard to get it close and hard to get it pin-high. Conditions stays like today, somebody shoots a low score, and Rasmus is doing that now. I'll see where him and Rory finish at the end of the day and come up with a game plan for tomorrow and give it my best.
