Q. 5-under par 67 for you today, your thoughts on that round?
RASMUS NEERGAARD-PETERSEN: I thought it was a really good round. I didn't get off to the best of starts. Obviously bogeying the second, you're losing quite a bit to the field there but after that, I felt like I settled in nicely and then obviously had a really good run there on the back nine. That really got me going.
Q. What part of your game in particular clicked for you after that start?
RASMUS NEERGAARD-PETERSEN: I thought my shots into the green, and just honestly, I stayed really patient. Gave myself a lot of pretty good looks there early on, and then I hit an iron really, really close on 13 that kind of started everything.
And then from there on, pretty much until 17, it was really good golf shots, and then obviously a little bit of a fight coming in. But that's what this course can do if you're a little bit out of position.
Q. How much are you enjoying your time out here, and particularly this course?
RASMUS NEERGAARD-PETERSEN: It's great. I really love being here. I love this kid of golf where you have to be really good tee-to-green, especially off the tee this week. Rough is really thick. Might not be that long but you can get some pretty nasty lies. It's a test where if like you're playing really good and really on your game being you can shoot a low score. But the moment you're out of position, it comes back to bite you.
Q. How much do you enjoy playing with Justin?
RASMUS NEERGAARD-PETERSEN: It was great. I thought great energy on the two ball, and also it's nice to see him get off to a good start. That helped me. I felt like I could feed off the crowd's energy a little bit with him making birdies early on. That was cool.
Q. It's a crucial week not just in terms of the tournament but the PGA TOUR card that's on offer. Has that entered your mind at all?
RASMUS NEERGAARD-PETERSEN: Obviously it's in the back of my bind but there's so much golf still to be played. I do need a really, really good finish. For now I'm going to try to keep my mind to be as ready as I can on the first tee tomorrow.
