JOHANNES VEERMAN: The game that I played yesterday, between yesterday and today wasn't that much different. Yesterday I had no bogeys. Today I had one bogey. So it was still a very clean round in that respect.
I had a couple good looks for birdie that I didn't make but I'm playing well, and I'm seeing the lines really well on the green. So I guess the best thing is that it was still there today.
Q. It must put a bounce in your step when you come in after the cut line and you see your name high up on that leaderboard.
JOHANNES VEERMAN: Yeah, you know, being in contention is really why we play golf, right. I mean, we love professional golf. But at the end of the day every single one of us, we love to compete and when your game is there where you want to be and you are up there on the leaderboard, that's why we play.
Q. What's the key to this course to make sure you don't make too many mistakes and you just keep the momentum?
JOHANNES VEERMAN: I think what you said just now is the key to keep your momentum going. It is easy to make a bogey out here but as long as you can kind of eliminate those, the birdies will come. Just to stay patient and that you keep the momentum.
Q. Talk to us about the fans here on The European Tour, I know you got a good taste of it back at the U.S. Open recently, but has not been long since we started introducing them back. What's it like seeing those guys back out here?
JOHANNES VEERMAN: You didn't realise how much you miss them. When you make a putt or you miss a putt sometimes, the crowd is there to kind of ride your emotions or to kind of console you and they are on your side, and it's really good to have them back.
