Q. Come off the course, sunshine is out but how tough was that 68?
SEAMUS POWER: It was interesting because the front nine seemed very difficult but obviously it was much nicer on the back. I was down to a tee shirt on the back. A tale of two nines but hot from the start. The ball wasn't going anywhere. I said to Simon on 15, everything seems way harder when it's raining and so it was nice to get it turned around on the front nine and hit a lot of nice shots on the back. Pleased and good shape over the weekend. Looking forward it.
Q. What's it like with the crowd?
SEAMUS POWER: That was amazing, one better atmospheres I've ever played golf in, especially having so much support. It was amazing until Shane birdied the last four and having that putt on the last. I knew when it went in it was a big roar but actually caught me off guard but great to be part of that. Even though it's only a Friday but memories you'll have for a long time. I really enjoyed it out there.
Q. Where you are on the leaderboard, going into the weekend what would it mean for you to cross the line on Sunday? With that trophy in your hand?
SEAMUS POWER: It would be huge, one of the things you grow up dreaming about in golf. Obviously I need another good one tomorrow to give myself a chance on Sunday. Seems I'm in a good spot only three back but it's going to be more of the same for me and maybe just cut out a cup of the mistakes and I should have a chance.
