Q. Thanks for joining us, a little frustrated to make double at 17 but how good, 13-under for two hounds feel here?
JORDAN SMITH: Yeah, I'm really, really happy. Yeah, double on 17 but it is what it is and I didn't really affect me too much. Sort of took my time with the shots and just a little bit unlucky but it is what it is. It's part of golf. Yeah, I you know I had a good chance and I birdied the last and unfortunately just missed the fairway but had a bit of a dodgy lie and had to lay up and made the most of it.
Q. You shot 6-under par yesterday. By the time you teed off, you were eight behind. Did you know and was that inspiring to know there was a low score out there or intimidating?
JORDAN SMITH: Yeah, I did say Shubhankar had 28 on the front nine, so I was a bit like -- that's good going out there with how the course is set up.
Yeah, I knew a good score was out there and yeah, like I said, I just played how I did yesterday, great tee-to-green and managed to hole a fair few putts which is nice.
Q. How much are you looking forward to the weekend in the form that you're in?
JORDAN SMITH: It's going to be great. There's going to be so many people, it's going to be brilliant and we've got the weather as well so yeah, plenty of sunscreen, plenty of water and just go out there and enjoy it and play how I've been the last two days.
Q. Birdie at the last, one of nine on the day all adding up to 65. How did this one come together for you today?
JORDAN SMITH: It was great, more of the same of yesterday. A little bit of a shame on 17 but just part of golf, isn't it you're going to have those sort of breaks. Yeah, it didn't affect me too much. Just slowed down and took my time and I knew I had a good chance on 18. It was good fun.
Q. What have you found in your game the last two days that maybe gives you a sense of the week?
JORDAN SMITH: Yeah, the long game has been great the last couple of months, so we were just maintaining that over the last couple of weeks while I was at home before Crans, and yeah, plenty of putts in practice. Didn't drop last week. Hit it great. Just didn't hole those putts. Yeah, thankfully I managed to find the bottom of the hole this week.
Q. Squarely in the mix, halfway through. How do you embrace the challenge of the weekend on the DP World Tour Championship knowing you put yourself in position to win?
JORDAN SMITH: It's going to be tough. You're going to hit bad shots but it's going to be good fun. There's going to be so many people here. The weather is going to be great. I'm just really looking forward to it and go out and play some good golf.
