Q. Excellent stuff despite the finish overall, terrific week. What do you make of your performance?
GRANT FORREST: Yeah, I got the tough side of the draw this week. Played pretty solid Thursday, Friday to get through and then yeah, had it going yesterday and had a really tough finish. Dropped five shots in the last four, so that was -- yeah, dinner didn't taste too good last night.
But proud of the way I picked myself back up this morning. Come out, obviously much nicer day today. Stayed patient and made a few putts coming in.
Obviously disappointed with the finish on 18. It was a good birdie chance to do that with the wind direction.
But all in all, the way the season's been, it's a big relief to get a week like this under my belt.
Q. You started the day about seven shots back. Did you think it was even possible to get a win?
GRANT FORREST: No, not really, to be honest. Especially with Rory leading, and in good weather, he's going to be tough, tough to beat today.
I just did my own thing, and yeah, all of a sudden I was right up there. Yeah, just you don't know what can happen out there.
Q. Were you looking at the leaderboards at all?
GRANT FORREST: I saw on 17, it just comes up with your playing partner's position as they are hitting their shot, and then I saw I was at second, a bit surprised. The guys out there still have a lot of golf to play and a lot of chances, so I expect I probably needed a birdie or an eagle on 18 to have any sort of chance.
But all in all, just delighted to finish the week like this.
