St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland

Norgaard Moller

Quick Quotes

Q. Your first experience at this event, how did you enjoy that first day out there?

NORGAARD MOLLER: It was so enjoyable. It's my first time playing this course and first time playing St Andrews this week. Just being here and being in these settings, and actually be able to, you know, play a championship on these courses, I just talked to my caddie about just trying to take the whole experience in because it is quite special. Not many people get to do that.

Q. It's such a unique experience as well with the team aspect. How have you enjoyed that?

NORGAARD MOLLER: I don't think there are many bad guys out here but I was very lucky to get two nice ones, very good partner. I've always enjoyed being social in the Pro-Am format.

Yeah, it feels a little bit more relaxed and you know, going down the last holes, being 7- , 8- , 9-under, I felt quite comfortable.

Q. And just one dropped shot but you bounced back with an eagle and birdie. Talk us through that stretch of holes.

NORGAARD MOLLER: 15 is a tough hole and I played it over the green, and then I just played a very good next hole. My caddie was like, you need to keep going. You need a good one, because playing one of the easier courses in the final round, and then just waiting for Armageddon to happen tomorrow in rain and wind, so trying to get all the shots in I can.

Yeah, hopefully not too bad tomorrow but it's going to be much worse tomorrow, much tougher.

Q. But you'll be getting to play St Andrews, a competitive round at the Old Course, that will be enjoyable no matter what the weather is like, isn't it?

NORGAARD MOLLER: Absolutely. I think it will be better than Carnoustie tomorrow.
