Q. Talk us through that opening round 67 today?
HURLY LONG: It was good. I struggled a little bit with my game the last few events but struck it nicely today. I've been putting it well, so gave myself some opportunities. Solid start. I'm happy.
Q. We've obviously seen a few tournaments played here the last couple years. How is the course scoring at the moment, and what do you need to do this week to provide a low number?
HURLY LONG: It's tough to say. It doesn't appear the scoring is crazy low right now which makes sense because there's a lot of tough tee shots out here. You have to drive it well to give yourself chances and there's some long holes. I can't put a number on it but I don't think 25-under is going to win, that's for sure.
Q. In your rookie season here on the DP World Tour, you've had back-to-back top five finishes and you seemed to settle in quite quickly. How comfortable do you feel out there?
HURLY LONG: Yeah, it's been a good start. I feel very comfortable right now. I think one thing that was nice for me was having a Challenge Tour winner's category allowed me to play out here and get acclimated. Once I got my rookie season underway, I was settled in halfway already.
Q. Are you taking it one tournament at a time, or do you have your eye set on achieving something concrete this year?
HURLY LONG: It's a little bit of both. I always try to do the best I can do definitely. I certainly want to do as well as I can, let's put it that way. I would certainly like to win out here if I can. If I play well, I think I have the game to.
