Q. The round was a bit of a grind. How would you describe today's 73?
RICHIE RAMSAY: A bit of a roller coaster, although it was -- it was as steady as I've played the front -- the first like 11 holes. I didn't actually hit that bad a shot on 12, just a bit left of the flag, and it clipped the tree and dropped down and I made double but great bounce-back with birdie.
For me it was just disappointing, the last four holes were pretty poor. 15, 16, 17, I had birdie opportunities, and I hit two absolute missiles down 17 and then three-putted, which always leaves a sour taste in your mouth. And you want to do something because there's good crowds down out there at the back and people have turned out, and obviously disappointing to bogey the last.
But maybe that's my bad round. Maybe that's the way I've got to look at it. You know, in the chasing pack tomorrow, and like there's no reason why you can't shoot 6-, 7-under tomorrow because the game is right there.
Q. If felt like nobody ran away today. Partly maybe it was because of the greens. I know, seeing Danny Willett, I think he had more lip-outs than he's had in his career today. Were the greens playing particularly harder?
RICHIE RAMSAY: We obviously had quite a lot of rain last night. And when you're late out, that's just part of the deal. You've got to kind make sure that it doesn't upset your putting routine. And I hit a great putt on 16 from three foot and it's in the middle of the hole and I'm about to pick it out. and it's dived and spun right out of the hole.
It's part of the game, and you just need to sort of accept it. But just like any club golfer, how can I say it? I was going to say one word, but I'll say it's very frustrating. I won't say the other word. It can be very frustrating at the same time. Doesn't matter whether you're amateur or pro. Just got to get on with it.
Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, looks like we're going to have some more good weather, a sellout crowd. Apart from some good rest, which I know is your secret weapon, what are you going to be doing?
RICHIE RAMSAY: Eat, sleep, good mindset. Good mindset, yeah. We need to set a tone. Olivia, my daughter, wants unicorns in the trophy. So I've made the promise. I need to keep it.
