Q. Tale of two halves, 4-under after 7, and then stop at the turn around 10 and 11, how do you feel about your round?
OLIVER WILSON: Overall, I'm pleased. A little disappointed with the start I got off to. I hit it great on the front nine, played great. Had a 3-footer on 9 to go 5-under, cruising, and feeling pretty good. And then I made a mental error off 10 and hit the wrong club; and another one out of 11 out of the rough into the green and it flew the camera guy, 30 yards.
So it got really tough, and I wasn't quite as good as I was on front nine, and then you really realise how difficult it's playing out there. Battled to make some pars, which I was delighted with. Then hung in there, had a couple chances but couldn't quite make them. All in all, it's a good day, but a little bit disappointed.
Q. You haven't been at your brilliant best this year, best finish 21st, but talking on the range, you feel like you're swinging really well. What's been the key to that and what's clicked?
OLIVER WILSON: Just kind of understanding why I've been finding it so tough. So I worked on that at the beginning of the week, and I think worked on all my game pretty hard consistently. But my putting has been a little bit better these last couple weeks as well, and starting to feel like I'm doing things right and playing well, playing golf well. Just scoring a bit better than I've been doing, and then it's coincided with swinging the club a lot better. It's been nice. It's been fun to stand up and hit the shots I've wanted to hit so far this week.
Q. How cool would it mean to win here tomorrow, your third DP World Tour title?
OLIVER WILSON: The thought has crossed my mind. It would be amazing. Obviously home now, lots of people to support me.
Yeah, I'd absolutely love it. It would be one hurt that I would love to have on my resumé, and I need a good week and it's been so much fun out there. To start with, going down the first few holes, the crowds were awesome. Got off to a great start. There's really not a lot better when you're playing well and you're in that kind of atmosphere. To go one step further and play well tomorrow and maybe get over the line, it would be pretty amazing.
