Q. Back again in the Team Cup. What are the vibes going into it the second time around, because you'd be aware of what's at stake and the people involved; do you feel a bit more comfortable?
ANTOINE ROZNER: Yeah, definitely, in known territory, but it's always a fantastic experience. We don't really play much team golf in the pros, so to have a chance to go again is a fantastic opportunity, and yeah, super happy to be here.
Q. Speaking to Thorbjørn and Nicolai, they are two of five Danes on the team and you're one of three French man on the team. How is that for you?
ANTOINE ROZNER: Well, it's cool because we all are very good friends, as well, so it makes it extra special for sure to get to share those moments with good friends is always very special. But yeah, super happy for the two of them as well, and hopefully if we can lift the trophy on Sunday, that would be for sure like memories of a lifetime.
Q. And it feels quite jovial at the moment, but as soon as that dividing wall went up in the team room, that's when the competition really started?
ANTOINE ROZNER: Yeah, for sure for sure. As of now, everyone is friends but I guarantee you, the first tee on Friday there, is a huge rivalry between us and you don't want to see the other team winning.
For sure, everyone is super excited and everyone is working hard and everyone is taking this week as a Ryder Cup. So at the end of the day, yeah, we all want to win. So yeah, no friendly adversity.
Q. Obviously last year, fantastic year for you. Would you potentially look back to the 2023 version of this event as a driving force for the success we've seen from you since then?
ANTOINE ROZNER: It definitely helped me going into this year. Two years ago, I have to admit, I had quite a bit of nerves on the first tee, having Luke next to us, he's standing really close to us on the first tee. I think I'll be able to handle this a little bit better this year. Even though the rest of the tournament I played really well, I think I'll be maybe a little bit more comfortable on the first tee and down the stretch.
Yeah, I think it can only help me going into this year, and I've been playing really well, especially the last part of the season. So if I can go again the way I finished, it would be great.
Q. And starting the season with a match-play event, does that free you up slightly?
ANTOINE ROZNER: Yeah, for sure. I think we have all had a little break. So golfing-wise, it's a great opportunity for us to get back to competition.
I know myself, my game is not in the best place at the moment, so I need this week, actually, just to get back on track.
Yeah, match-play format will definitely help me a little bit because I'm going to miss shots and yeah, match play, you can definitely get away a little bit easier.
Q. And in terms of your teammates, it's been quite a bit of turnaround compared to two years ago. Is there anyone in particular you've got your eye on wanting to play with or are you just happy to go with anybody?
ANTOINE ROZNER: I think I'm happy to go with anybody. But I would like to play with a certain guys and there's two guys I asked to play with, but not going to go too much into details. But yeah, I think whatever Francesco decides to put me with, I'll be giving my best, and at the end of the day, you know, it's match play. It's double match-play format.
So you're going to have to team up with your teammate and have a good strategy or good game plan, and yeah, that's how you're going to win.
