Q. This is your first experience of an environment like this. How are you settling in and how much are you enjoying it?
MATTHIEU PAVON: I think it's super great. We can really see like, let's say, a small picture of what can be a Ryder Cup.
But it's great to understand how like a day of a Ryder Cup is made, what you have to do, the team meetings, the preparation. We got some nice games today with some funny, pressure moments. It was good to be part of it, and it's I think really helpful for what's going to cop.
Q. A lot of comfort, I imagine, in having Romain and Antoine with you, as well. Three Frenchmen in the Continental European team out of ten guys; that must be something you're really proud of.
MATTHIEU PAVON: Yeah, it's good. As I said, French golf is getting better and better. We have a couple of wins last year. We have Romain, Antoine here with me. It only get better, and it's great to see that everybody is improving and we are getting one of the strongest nations in golf.
Q. Do you see your appearance this week, maybe reward is the wrong word, but shows you're on the right track, given the success you've had over the past 18 months?
MATTHIEU PAVON: Yeah, of course. Again, if you're here, it's because you made great things over the last year. It's just great to putt a little bit of a team thing when you are part of a lonely, and let's say, very individual sport.
It's just great, and I think we are building like strong memories.
Q. What's the atmosphere like in the team room? It's different in that you're all here for the same goal compared to ten Americans and ten Europeans. You've got 20 guys here, all working towards the same aim?
MATTHIEU PAVON: Yeah, it's great. I think a lot of friendship. Everybody is really happy to be here, very positive, and it's really looking forward to put on a great week. It's aid very nice atmosphere, very gentle and very smiley atmosphere.
