Q. Rasmus, the day before the Team Cup kicks off, you must be so pleased to actually be part of the team this time around after two years ago.
RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, I'm very happy to be here. Very happy that I don't have to pull out. I'm really looking forward to it.
Q. What's the vibe been like since you arrived? Really well put together by the backroom team, hasn't it?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: It's been great. I can't put a finger on anything. From the whole locker rooms to the dining area everything and, I think it's been so good so far.
Yeah, it's a well-organised event.
Q. And how has it been today now that the competition has almost kicked off? That practise round was pretty intense, wasn't it?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: I'd put it that way; that it's the most intense practise round I've ever had. It was -- you know, I think that's good to do sometimes. You can't play a practise round like that all the time but if you throw that in once in a while, I think that's very healthy because you get to test your game a little bit under pressure. I know it's a practise round but we still want to win. We all have that competitive ego that even though it doesn't count yet, it's still nice to win.
You know, they threw in some curveballs today but it was quite fun.
Q. Looking at Continental Europe, you're one of five Danish players. Your tiny country makes up half of the team. How awesome is that?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, it's awesome. Golf in Denmark right now is on a very good path. Amateur golf is strong, and there's a lot of new pros coming through The Challenge Tour, and now on to the DP World Tour.
Yeah, it's quite amazing to be fair. I'm not quite sure how to describe it because when you look at it, and there's five Danes in the team, you're thinking, how is that possible. I think we've got five players in the top hundred as well. First time ever that's happened.
It's quite cool to see how the golf is evolving in Denmark.
Q. One of those guys here, you have played with previously, Rasmus. You played together as an amateur in your victorious European Team. What's it like seeing his progression coming through obviously college and Challenge Tour and winning the rankings and getting three wins to get promoted immediately, must be great to see guys like him on the pipeline?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: A hundred per cent but I'm not surprised at all. I think we all knew that he was going to get out here and that he's going to get to America, as well. You know, looking back to, I think it was 2017, we won the European boys team championship and he was out last and got the job done for us. It's quite cool to see, and playing together today and potentially later in the week as well. I'm very happy for him. He's a fantastic player.
