Q. How proud to retain the momentum the team gained this morning?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, it was big for us this afternoon. Obviously it was always to go to be -- every match is going to be tough. It was awkward because we played so good this morning, and trying to continue that momentum in the afternoon is always difficult.
We were a bit scruffy at times today. Obviously around the turn was massive for us, and yeah, ultimately very happy to win our point this season.
Q. You were telling me at the end of last year, everything that you do, every tournament you play, every shot you hit is focused on trying to get into that Ryder Cup. This is the next best thing, a team event representing your country playing alongside the likes of Tyrrell and Justin Rose. How much are you enjoying this?
MATT WALLACE: Very much. Learning. Getting to play with this guy, a good friend of mine, and playing competitive golf, obviously we are playing with good friends, as well, and they are tough matches.
It's so good to be out there knowing we were coming out here all day together. It was great. I was a bit scrappy at start, but I was very happy to turn it around in the middle there.
I think 1 1/2 points today is good. Our golf was really good this morning, and like Tyrrell said, to carry that on is difficult in foursomes. But managed to turn that around and that's what it's all about. Anything I can learn from Rosey and Tyrrell is valuable this week.
