Q. Tied at the moment, 68, fantastic round out there. Describe your day out there.
ANGEL HIDALGO: Well, first it was tough. Definitely when I heard my name again, I thought it was a few more crowd. I was a little bit nervous and I didn't hit my best driver. But that chip gave me a lot of confidence.
Yeah, I played good. I missed a few shots to the right yesterday. I felt my clubs was heavy today. But it's true, after the short putt I missed on 12, I played great golf, I think. 3-under in the back part of the course is pretty good. I'm pretty happy.
Q. Apart from that shot on 12, you seemed to putt great, and the one on 18, safe to say you were pretty pumped after that last putt on 18?
ANGEL HIDALGO: Well, sometimes, normally my caddie read the lines with me and on the last one, I saw that Jon put on 18, which I was on 17 green and I saw the ball break a lot. I said to my caddie, I putt this one, so because this type of putt, pretty quick, right-to-left, low one always with the right side, and yeah, it was a good stroke.
I was putting pretty good today, save a few important ones, like 12. Probably make that one, I make pars all the rest of the round and I shoot two more shots. I'm pretty happy.
Q. A chance for your maiden win on the DP World Tour in your home country, and final group with three Spanish players, Jon Rahm and David Puig. How excited are you at the moment?
ANGEL HIDALGO: Yeah, sounds good. Sounds pretty good. The match will be really good. I know really good David. I played with him when I was young. Yeah, with Jon, what can I say? He's the G.O.A.T. in this tournament. I don't know how many times he won, like three times or four times, I don't know.
Yeah, pretty happy. I can't wait to arrive to the first tee tomorrow.
