Q. Love to see you back here in France at Le Golf National where you have very fond memories.
How are you feeling playing the Pro-Am in this lovely weather?
JUSTIN ROSE: Miserable. It's a great golf course. It's in great shape. It's such a shame, obviously it's going to get a deluge.
Obviously it's miserable right now, and I think it's going to get heavier as the day goes on.
So hopefully the course can handle it and tomorrow is not too sloppy out here because it really is in good shape.
Obviously we saw the Olympics here earlier in the year. This golf course is made for great events. Excited to be back from that point of view, and obviously FedEx stepping up, and it feels like it's got good energy, this tournament.
Q. Has been a while since you've graced the fairways of Le Golf National, and an incredible week it was, of course, do you reminisce on those moments despite the weather?
JUSTIN ROSE: It feels so different. I mean, the energy of a Ryder Cup, you could honestly play anywhere with a Ryder Cup. The Ryder Cup makes a venue. But obviously all these hill tops were full of fans.
It looks pretty bleak and different right now. You know, the course is iconic in the sense that especially the finishing stretch around the lakes and things like that, you remember moments that happened out there, and of course it was a special European win again.
Q. It is obviously a later time in the year than we normally play The Open de France, and you got to play it yesterday in some slightly better conditions. How is it holding up normally compared to what you remember?
JUSTIN ROSE: The course is good. The greens are in great shape. I'm sure the golf has had a lot of play all summer, but divots-wise it's in better shape than I was expecting. They have done a great job with it.
Q. You've had a great season recently and incredible weeks in the majors. How is the game feeling at the moment?
JUSTIN ROSE: I've had a bit of time off to be honest with you. I feel like it's been a nice time to come off the back of the year mentally, have a few weeks, freshening up catching up with the family. Obviously to get the game going this week would be nice with eyes Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and getting a strong finish to the DP World Tour season.
