Quick Quotes

Q. 64 for your second round here at Le Golf National. Tell us how you found it out there especially after yesterday's challenging conditions?

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: Today was way easier because no wind and it picked up slightly. But yesterday was tough but today I would say very easy in the morning.

Q. Shot of the day, 272 to the par 5, six feet, I'd imagine?

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: Yeah, that was the best shot of the day.

Q. How is the course holding up? The greenskeepers have done incredible to get it in the condition it is, but I imagine still if you're not in the fairway there are challenges out there.

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: The rough is pretty wet. Obviously Wednesday I didn't think we could play yesterday, and we did play. They did an amazing job. Only the rough is wet.

Q. Talk about your year. There's been a few dry spells in the season. Tell us what you're working on?

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: Yeah, it's been a bad year. Me and my coach at Wentworth are like, you have to stand square with the shoulders because I've been open, so I've been trying to do that. It feels weird but this week it starts to feel normal. Maybe that's why it works better this week.

Q. Patience is a word coaches use a lot. You just have to wait it out and trust the process, haven't you.

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: Yeah, I've played so bad, I thought go all in and try this thing, stand straight. It can't go worse. I'm glad I did it.

Q. Good result here last year. I imagine this is a course you quite like and confident about over the weekend?

SIMON FORSSTRÖM: I like it. It's nice. You have to be straight off the tee, which I am usually. I like this place.
