Q. A second round 68 to add to a 66, two shots back at the halfway stage. How would you assess your day's performance?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, nothing spectacular but you know it was just solid golf, which was nice. You know, when I had to hit some shots, I could.
But yeah, didn't hit anything spectacular which is just a reason why I didn't go too low. Yeah, it was a nice warm day and the game was just there, nothing -- nothing crazy.
Q. You started off with your only bogey of the day. How important was it to bounce back straightaway and get charging?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, I think it's just a learning curve. Back in the day, I let it affect me too much and now I can trust my game and just hit a nice drive on No. 2 and pitched it to like four feet.
So yeah, it's -- I think everyone wants to get to that stage, you know, bouncing back. Mistakes are going to happen. It wasn't really that big of a mistake but you know, it's not nice making bogey on the first.
Yeah, it was early. There's plenty of holes left and I just had to stay in it and yeah, that's what I did.
Q. Is that the same sort of attitude when you see a couple of wedge shots go a little bit long, you scramble for par and move on to the next?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, exactly. Today the wind was a little swirly so it was quite tough to get the perfect yardage. But yeah, I mean, it just golf. You have to forget as quick as possible and I'm lucky that my short game is not bad so I can fire at pins sometimes.
Q. We saw a couple of chef hats out there. How nice to get that support all over the world no matter where you're playing?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, it's great. I thank my fans. France is a long way from home and where I play usually, so it's great to have some supporters out here. You know, there wasn't too many people out but there were two chef hats which meant a lot. So yeah, it's just one of those things I'm really grateful for and very, hopefully my golf game can keep continuing to get more chef hats out here.
