Q. Miles, you're the youngest player in the field. You're playing on the weekend. What does it mean to you in your young career to compete on the weekend at Shinnecock in your first national championship?
MILES RUSSELL: Yeah, it's really special to get to play the weekend here, just in any tournament. But making a major, my first one, it's super special, and I'm looking forward to it.
Q. What's it been like playing in these U.S. Open conditions with the best players in the world, and what have you learned about yourself these past couple of days?
MILES RUSSELL: It's been really cool watching Cam and Padraig, just the way they go about it. You're learning things.
I played okay today. I played really well on the front side, I felt like, and maybe got a little loose there on the back side, so just try to side I that up a little bit, but other than that, I feel like it was a great day.
