TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Disappointed with the last hole. I feel like the last hole was playing particularly tough today. I don't know, I feel like so far this week when I've hit a poor shot, I'm not saying you shouldn't get punished, but I did get really punished there. That's a little bit frustrating, and made a mess of the last there.
It's a great score, and I think you have to give yourself a pound on the back. I did a lot of good stuff today.
Q. On the edge in terms of pin position. (Indiscernible).
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I think it was fine. I think you just had to be accepting of where you could put your golf ball and then go from there really.
I do think, like, the greens are -- the places where you can hit it are very small, so you still have to hit a good shot to the right place and then go from there. It's not as if you can hit bad shots and get away with it.
So, no, I think it's been fair. Yeah, it was tucked away, but of course, it's the U.S. Open and we're coming into the weekend, and I think they're scoring pretty good, so I think we can expect it to be quite difficult.
Q. Is the wind dropping a bit? Is it going to be easier for the later starters, do you think?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I don't know. It sounded like it was horrific first thing out this morning, and it calmed down a bit when we were playing, but it's been -- it's been breezy. It's been tough.
Wind direction kind of isn't the easiest. It makes a couple of holes easier, but in general the way it's blowing makes some of them play harder, as well.
I don't know. Obviously I would appreciate it if it keeps up, but I think we'll see. Those guys have 11 holes to play, 12 holes to play. I'll enjoy watching it a little bit when I get back in.
Q. Feeling right in it for tomorrow?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: We'll see what Wyndham does and what the rest do. The tournament is not really in my control. Again, I said yesterday, I felt like I probably should have or could have got a couple more out of it. Almost feel the same today on the back end, but I can't complain about where I am.
I've been playing really, really well. I just got to go out there tomorrow, and, like, just shoot the best score I can and see what happens. The tournament is in other people's hands rather than mine right now, so I'm just going to go out there and do the best I can see where we do.
Q. Do you have 63 in you?
TOMMY FLEETWOOD: We'll see what conditions bring tomorrow. I'd like to think so. It's always nice -- I mean, it's nice when you have good memories of a place, isn't it? I have great shots to go off and good feelings, so you know, I can draw on that. But I've enjoyed battling with the golf course so far this week. Now looking forward to another shot at it tomorrow.
