Q. We're here with Hyo Joo Kim, 4-under 68. Can you talk us through your round today?
HYO JOO KIM: Well, I was quite concerned about the front nine, but I was able to do a good job.
Then the back nine I had some risky stretches, but I was able to make par each time, and I'm very satisfied with my overall performance to the end.
Q. How special is it to be here at Pebble Beach?
HYO JOO KIM: I think I can brag about this, my opportunity to play at Pebble Beach, and definitely to my friends, my family members, my acquaintances and good players. It's something to brag about for sure.
Q. You're tied for the lead right now. What's your game plan for tomorrow to stay in that position?
HYO JOO KIM: Tomorrow I'll be playing in the morning, so the course conditions might be different, but I will adapt as best as I can and save the shots, and I hope to have continuously satisfying shots.
Q. You had the runner-up finish at the U.S. Open a few years ago. Does that give you any confidence this week heading into the tournament?
HYO JOO KIM: In terms of confidence, well, not because I was the runner-up at the time because of my performance, but this is a new tournament, a new golf course, so I had a new mindset.
So I think because of my good performance today, I think that gives me confidence.
